A commonplace book

The mystics knew

Long before the laboratory, the Church's saints and Scriptures spoke of tasting, seeing, and being undone by the living God. This is a growing commonplace book of those voices — kept here as witnesses that the direct experience of God is not foreign to our tradition, but at its very heart.
